My father, while on vacation suffered a stroke. The USHA's benefit provided by Network Air Medical Systems (NAMS) provided transportation via Lear Jet ambulance to DFW airport. The flight crew included a Registered Nurse and a Paramedic. They were met by a local ground ambulance and transferred to Plano General Hospital. The RN and Paramedic did not leave his side until he was admitted, stable and the attending physicians briefed. My father lived for two more years before passing away. I thank Network Air Medical Systems for being there for him. I would have never been able to afford that bill.
